We’re seeking an ambitious Senior Buyer to join a leading high‑tech manufacturer in Bristol, with global reach.

This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in a globally respected business, managing key supplier relationships, driving purchasing performance and ensuring critical materials and components are delivered to support the development of industry‑leading products.

The Role

  • Managed the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition through to purchase order placement.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and coordinate orders in line with operational requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and supplier‑related issues.
  • Manage return-to-vendor activities and supplier non-conformance processes.
  • What we are looking for
  • Previous experience within an Engineering or Production Environment
  • Track record as a Buyer.
  • CIPS level 4 qualified or similar Purchasing Qualification
  • HNC/HND in Engineering or Manufacturing Discipline
  • Good ability with managing conflicting priorities.

Day Based. Please note this is a 12 month FTC – strong likelihood of going perm.
