Quality Control Manager, Kent

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (39 hours per week)

Commutable from - Sittingbourne, Gillingham, Chatham, Maidstone, Rochester, Faversham

£40,000 - £45,000 DOE

Benefits: Weekly pay, Christmas bonus (subject to company performance), 20 days holiday + BH, increasing to 25 days, company pension, training and career development opportunities, wellbeing & savings benefit platform.

Our client is looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join the team due to continued growth. The ideal candidate will work as part of a small team in a friendly working environment and be responsible for the QC department of the business.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Implementation and adherence to all company and factory control procedures to ensure compliance with all HSEQ requirements
  • Manage and support the development of the QC team
  • Carry out root cause investigations using problem solving tools
  • Drive continuous improvements to enhance quality

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing or laboratory‑based quality role.
  • Strong understanding of inspection, testing, and quality control methodologies including ISO 9001 and working with certified products
  • Strong communicator and decision maker
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong communication and reporting skills.

Desirable:

  • Internal auditing experience
  • Plastics experience
