We are working with a leading food processor just outside of Wisbech who are looking for a QA Specialist to join their team. This opportunity is an essential role supporting the quality lead and the quality manager to ensure quality standards are kept high. The team is very supportive with a lot of diverse experience and backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing customer complaints, carrying out investigations, root cause analysis, and closing out corrective actions.
- Overseeing HACCP activities across the site, contributing to food safety and compliance.
- Assisting with internal audits, helping to prepare the site for an annual schedule of around 20 audits.
- Maintaining and updating QMS documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with site standards.
- Using SAP for tasks such as raising and managing purchase orders.
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in a Quality role within food manufacturing.
- HACCP Level 2 or above.
- Experience assisting or leading internal or external audits.
- Knowledge of working to BRC standards.
- Experience in low care or high care food environments.
- Proactive.
- Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office and SAP.
