Our client is a leading global manufacturer in the building products manufacturing industry. They are currently recruiting for a mechanical fitter to oversee all maintenance activities on site.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Managing contractors
- Mechanical fault-finding and repairs
- Repairs on Hydraulics and Pneumatics
- Maintaining plant equipment such as conveyors, gearboxes and motors
- Ensure all maintenance plans and documentation is up to date
- Ensure health & Safety standards are met at all times.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Must have at least 3 years experience as a Mechanical Fitter
- Engineering apprenticeship or similar engineering qualification
- Knowledge of maintenance scheduling
- Strong mechanical fault finding & servicing skills
- Good hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge
- Good time management, problem solving skills and attention to detail
