Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the entire Manufacturing Team, including logistics and stores.
- Stay up to date with the latest manufacturing industry techniques and innovations.
- Proactively engage new product introductions.
- Lead by example in instilling a continuous improvement culture into the department.
- Build and oversee supplier relationships and stock management.
- Complete responsibility for departmental health and safety requirements.
- Facilitate audits and tours of the facility, both internal and external.
- Oversee onboarding training of new employees.
Requirements:
- Experienced operational leader within a manufacturing environment, overseeing production, stores and logistics.
- Strong background in people management.
- A good understanding of continuous improvement.
- A sound understanding of health and safety principles.
