A global manufacturing company is seeking a dynamic Maintenance Lead to join their growing team during its next phase of expansion. This is a unique opportunity to become part of a highly respected organisation, where you will have the chance to build and lead a high performing maintenance engineering team.
Role & Responsibilities
This role is responsible for owning and managing the operational maintenance, equipment reliability and related processes. The role holder will be responsible for developing and implementing a maintenance strategy which ensures an efficient output, meeting all KPIs. Responsible for driving standards of safe working, execution, accuracy, and behaviours of the maintenance team. The role expectation will be one that demonstrates a very hands-on, business focused, visible leadership approach with safety and continuous improvement at the forefront always. The role holder will report directly to the site Operations Manager on a day-to-day basis and lead a small team of maintenance, including overall responsibility for all contractors. The ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships will be an essential factor in their success.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Apprenticeship or University / College background in Maintenance.
- Background knowledge & experience within a fast-moving manufacturing organisation.
- Experience in leading maintenance teams within a manufacturing organisation.
