A well-established supplier within the building services sector is seeking to expand its Sales team in South Wales. The business has built a strong reputation over many years for reliability, technical expertise, and a practical, customer-first approach, supporting a loyal base of engineers, contractors, and industrial clients. Despite its established presence, the business continues to grow steadily, offering a stable and supportive working environment with opportunities to develop within a close-knit team.
As an Internal Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing the existing customer base as well as finding new business opportunities.
Role & Responsibilities:- Managing existing accounts through the SMARS customer system
- Develop lasting relationships with customers to build prosperous business ties
- Working closely with the external sales team to pinpoint and implement specific strategy to achieve sales targets
- New business winning
- Quoting new and existing customers with competitive pricing and technical support
- Liaising with suppliers to improve our offering and increase our margin
- Proactive new business winning along with careful market research into further opportunities for the business
- Previous experience in an Internal Sales / Technical Sales / Sales Engineer related position
- A background within an engineering related business or building services related industry
- The person will need to be proactive, tenacious and have a strong desire to learn.
