Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all production activities, ensuring delivery meets safety, quality, cost, and schedule expectations across maintenance and refurbishment operations.
- Oversee day-to-day production and short-term planning, adapting workflows to meet changing customer and technical requirements.
- Develop and implement production strategies, policies, and performance standards aligned with wider business objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and performance.
- Manage budgets, optimise resources, and ensure cost control while delivering value for the business.
- Set, monitor, and report on KPIs to maintain strong governance, performance tracking, and delivery assurance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop production teams to build capability and promote a high-performance, continuous improvement culture.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a production or operations management role.
- Experience of working in rolling stock or traction sector.
- Leadership qualifications and management experience.
- NEBOSH General.
