Automation Team Leader Wythenshawe Days role, Monday to Friday £60,000 to £65,000 Bonus, Pension, Life Assurance, Holidays, other benefits My client, a market leader within their industry, is looking for an experienced Automation Team Leader to spearhead the Automation team within the business. This role involves orchestrating a team of highly skilled Automation professionals at a leading global manufacturer. Role Description To lead a team in delivering quality automation solutions with an agreed programme and cost framework Evaluation of existing manual/semi-automated processes, implementing new suggestions and strategy for improvement Continuous improvement of current packaging systems, ensuring team manages workload correctly Full control of projects involving both internal and external providers Modification and/or fabrication of parts to existing automation equipment for more flexibility Train, mentor and develop the team where possible at all times Skills and Qualifications Experienced in robot programming Trained in PLC/HMI programming Experienced with 3D drawing packages and able to read/complete technical drawings Experience of designing and implementing automation solutions on a small or large scale Natural leadership, team leading qualities and desire to help others around them Creative thinking Ability to analyse and improve production processes Excellent communication skills Hands on approach Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills Company Information As a business, our client is a true market leader within their industry with a strong presence across the UK.
