Asphalt Plant Manager
£40,000 – £45,000 + Bonus Scheme

Monday to Friday (48 hour week)

Our client is a leading global manufacturer in the building products and concrete products manufacturing industry. They are currently recruiting for an Asphalt Plant Manager to oversee day-to-day operations.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing a team of 4 on-site
  • Managing contractors
  • Mechanical fault-finding and repairs
  • Ensure all maintenance plans and documentation are up to date
  • Ensure health & Safety standards are met at all times
  • Optimising production output and KPI management

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Must have at least 3 years experience as an Asphalt Plant Manager
  • People management experience is essential
  • NEBOSH certificate would be beneficial but can be obtained on the job
  • Engineering apprenticeship or similar engineering qualification
  • Knowledge of maintenance scheduling
  • Strong mechanical fault finding & servicing skills
  • Knowledge of mixer, shovel and weighbridge operations
  • Good time management, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
