A leading manufacturer renowned for exceptional product quality is expanding its technical team in preparation for exciting developments in 2025. As part of this growth, the company is seeking an Advanced Maintenance Engineer to play a key role in maintaining and improving site equipment and systems.
Role & Responsibilities
- To liaise with contractors and arrange for site visits to ensure that work is carried out to expected standard.
- Carry out maintenance on equipment during non-planned and planned maintenance shuts in a timely manner
- Analysis of breakdowns to determine root cause and prevent re-occurrence.
- Undertake projects of improvement, extension or modification or equipment in order to optimise efficiency, reliability and safety.
- Carry out maintenance on all equipment across the site including conveyors, pumps, cranes, motors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics etc.
- Working at height and be part of the rescue at height team (Full training and PPE will be provided)
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- NVQ3 / HNC In Electrical Maintenance or relevant degree
- Supervisory / Team lead experience wwithin a maintenance environment
- 18th Edition
- Plastics / Food / Packaging / Warehouse industry experience within a Electrical Maintenance position
- PLC fault finding β Siemens
- Experience of medium and low voltage systems
- Experience of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Strong knowledge of Variable speed drives, AC and DC, picking cranes, conveyor systems instrumentation and pneumatics
