1st/2nd Line IT Support
Paignton | Up to Β£35,000 (DOE)
We're partnering with a well-established organisation seeking an IT Support Professional to join their growing technology team. This is a broad and hands-on role, providing support across the business while helping to maintain and enhance core systems, infrastructure and end-user technology. You'll be a key part of the IT function, ensuring colleagues receive a high level of technical support while contributing to ongoing technology projects and improvements.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support to users across the organisation.
- Administer and support Microsoft 365, user accounts and endpoint devices.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking and system-related issues.
- Assist with the maintenance and improvement of business-critical systems and infrastructure.
- Support device deployment, configuration and lifecycle management.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver an excellent support experience.
- Maintain security best practices and help ensure systems remain compliant and up to date.
- Contribute to IT projects, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience Required includes:
- Previous experience in an IT Support or similar technical support role.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
- Experience supporting users in a busy business environment.
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting.
- Experience managing hardware, software and end-user devices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to support.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical users.
- Experience with SQL would be very advantageous
- Full UK Drivers License
