Our team are currently looking to recruit a Technology Lead specialised in Wired, Wireless, and WAN Edge Engineering to join our Global Infrastructure Engineering function within Computershare Technology Services.

A role you will love
The Technology Lead – Wired, Wireless, and WAN Edge is accountable for leading the technical direction and implementation of our enterprise wired, wireless, and Wide Area Network (WAN) edge strategy and infrastructure. This role provides technical leadership, guidance, and expertise in the design, deployment, and maintenance of robust, scalable, solutions.
Some key responsibilities:
- Owning and maintaining the wired, wireless, and WAN edge network architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices that guide the wider organization.
- Providing technical leadership and mentorship to network engineering teams focused on wired, wireless, and WAN edge infrastructure.
- Leading the design and implementation of wired, wireless, and WAN edge network architectures for complex solutions, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Working proactively with compliance, risk, and security functions to identify and address wired, wireless, and WAN edge network-related issues and blockers.
- Collaborating closely with Security, infrastructure, and global development teams to ensure our wired, wireless, and WAN edge network is secure, scalable, and aligned with industry and regulatory standards.
What will you bring to the role?
As one of our Technology Leads, you will have significant experience in a technical lead or senior network engineering role with a focus on enterprise wired, wireless, and WAN edge networking. You will also display the ability to lead by example in implementing a new strategic plan.
Other key skills required for the role include:
- Expert experience in the design and implementation of a diverse range of enterprise network solutions and services, including wired LAN technologies, wireless LAN technologies, traditional WAN and SDWAN technologies and vendors.
- Expert experience in the design, implementation, and management of solutions from leading vendors.
- Demonstrable experience in working with relevant network vendors across wired, wireless, and WAN edge domains.
- Demonstrable experience in the implementation of architecture processes and governance within an enterprise environment.
- Ability to present technical solution designs and justifications to all levels of the organisation, and manage expectations when balancing solution alternatives against business constraints and technological realities.
