We have a current opportunity for a Test Analyst on a contract basis. The position will be based in various locations.
Manual Test Analysts – Cyber Security Programme
My client in the utilities sector is seeking 4 Manual Test Analysts to support a critical application upgrade within a Cyber Security Programme.
- Location: Hybrid – 2 days/week on-site (Leeds or North East)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Length: 10 months
- Day Rate: 350- 375/day (Outside IR35)
- Clearance: BPSS required – applicants must have lived in the UK continuously for the past 5 years. SC clearance is a bonus but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute ST, SIT, and UAT test cases and scripts
- Prepare test strategies, plans, and manage test data
- Perform manual testing across performance, system, integration, and UAT phases
- Collaborate with business stakeholders in a resource-constrained environment
- Work within regulated industries using tools like JIRA; familiarity with SOAP API and security testing principles
Essential Criteria – Applications not meeting these will not be considered:
- Proven strong stakeholder management experience
- Manual testing expertise
- Background in regulated industries (e.g. Utilities, Energy, Financial Services)
- BPSS clearance eligibility (must have lived in the UK for the last 5 years)
