About the Role

We're seeking a skilled and driven Rail PAYG Delivery Manager to join our client's team in Manchester on a contract basis. Our client operates within the dynamic and fast-paced transport sector and is focused on delivering impactful projects that enhance connectivity and innovation. In this pivotal role, you will lead efforts to define, develop, and deliver key phases of a transformative rail project, driving multi-modal solutions, station expansion, and improved functionality to benefit the wider network.

  • Location: Based in Manchester
  • IR35 status: Outside
  • Working pattern: 2/3 days onsite
  • Start date: July
  • Contract length: 6 months
  • Day Rate: Up to £500 a day

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Definition of Proposed Scope: Map out strategies for integrating multi-modal products, station enhancements, and upgrading the functionality established in Phase 1.
  • Business Case Development: Spearhead the creation of compelling business cases to advocate for Phase 2 implementation.
  • Solution and Delivery Options: Assemble and present robust solutions and delivery paths, supporting strategic decisions regarding future phases.
  • Co-ordination of design deliverables: With Phase 1 delivery team, SMEs, external parties and Suppliers.
  • Cost and Delivery Planning: Assemble a comprehensive cost model and phased delivery plan for regional delivery.
