Job Description SAP HR / Payroll Consultant \n Location: Telford (2 days per week onsite) Duration: 6 Months Start date: 05/10/2026 Pay Rate: £460 p/d (Inside IR-35) Security Clearance: BPSS, SC clearance or eligibility required \n Overview \n I am currently seeking an experienced SAP HR / Payroll Consultant to join a major digital transformation programme within a large-scale public sector environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a substantial SAP landscape, contributing to both project delivery and live service support for SAP HCM and Payroll solutions. \n The successful consultant will play a key role in enhancing existing functionality, resolving complex issues, and delivering high-quality SAP solutions within a collaborative, multi-supplier environment. \n Key Responsibilities \n \n Design, configure, enhance and support SAP HCM and Payroll solutions. \n Work as part of an established HCM and Payroll team within a large SAP practice. \n Investigate, analyse and resolve live service issues across SAP Payroll and HCM modules. \n Deliver project work within a multi-supplier environment, ensuring quality and timely execution. \n Produce and maintain high-quality documentation including: \n \n Solution Design Documents \n Functional Specifications \n WRICEF documentation \n Technical and support artefacts \n \n Collaborate with both onshore and offshore teams, reporting into the Team Lead. \n Provide accurate delivery estimates and contribute to project planning activities. \n Support ongoing digital transformation initiatives and continuous service improvements. \n \n Required Skills & Experience \n \n Proven experience as an SAP Payroll Consultant with multiple end-to-end project deliveries. \n Strong background supporting SAP environments across both project and BAU/live support functions. \n Expert-level knowledge of: \n \n SAP Payroll \n \n Strong functional experience across: \n \n Personnel Administration (PA) \n Organisational Management (OM) \n Employee & Manager Self-Service \n Time Management \n Travel Management \n SuccessFactors \n Country Legal Changes \n \n Experience working within large, complex SAP landscapes. \n Technical awareness of: \n \n SAP Workflow \n ABAP \n BASIS \n SAP Security \n SAP Portals \n SAP Integrations \n SAP UI5 \n \n Exposure to SAP's strategic technologies, including: \n \n SuccessFactors \n SAP BTP \n SAP S/4HANA \n SAP Analytics Cloud \n SAP Concur \n \n Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation programmes. \n To find out more about Computer Futures please visit \n JBRP1_UKTJ
