Due to winning new contracts, our client is seeking a Water Hygiene Engineer / Water Treatment Engineer based in London to undertake cleans and disinfections, water sampling, descales, flushing and deadleg removals. Experience / Qualifications:
- Fully versed in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- Successful experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer / Water Treatment Engineer
- Independent and diligent
- Skilled in IT software with good literacy and numeracy
- Travel in line with company requirements
- Working to set personal targets
The Role:
- Writing up regular service reports
- Cleans and disinfections on cooling towers
- Water sampling
- Temperature monitoring
- Cleans and chlorinations on CWST
- Collecting samples from closed loop systems
- TMV servicing, repairs and failsafe checks
- Deadleg removals
- Using chemicals on main injections
- Showerhead descales
