They are seeking a hardworking and experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to provide PPM services to a range of commercial, local authority and public sector premises. The company is known for its fantastic training opportunities and development plans. Candidates would benefit from good access to major Northern routes such as the M62 and A1(M). Experience / Qualifications
- Must have experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
- Fully conversant in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- Beneficial to have experience with process systems such as Cooling Towers, Closed Systems and Steam Boilers (not essential)
- Flexible to travel in line with company requirements
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- IT literate
The Role
- Undertaking a variety of PPM ACOP L8 compliance duties
- Showerhead descales
- TMV servicing and failsafes
- Closed system sampling
- CWST cleans and disinfections
- Flushing of infrequently used outlets
- Cleans and disinfections on cooling towers
- Keeping accurate records of works undertaken and producing regular service reports
- Working to agreed schedules
