We are recruiting on behalf of a growing and highly respected Asbestos Consultancy that is expanding its presence in the South East region. Our client is seeking a fully qualified Asbestos Surveyor who can hit the ground running. They are multi-disciplined within the compliance sector and offer a diverse training programme for ambitious individuals. You will conduct asbestos surveys across new and existing client premises, maintaining high levels of customer service. They are offering excellent base salaries and benefits packages for the successful candidate.

Experience / Qualifications

  • Must hold the BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent)
  • Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor, ideally within a UKAS accredited outfit
  • Robust technical knowledge, including HSE and HSG 264 guidelines
  • Strong communication skills
  • IT literate
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills

The Role

  • Attending client sites to carry out the full range of management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
  • Collating findings to produce detailed technical reports
  • Producing site-specific floorplans
  • Safely obtaining asbestos samples from site
  • Working to set personal targets and deadlines
  • Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
  • Meeting with clients to provide technical advice on findings
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry technical changes / updates
