We are recruiting on behalf of a well‐known Environmental Compliance specialist. They are seeking a professional Asbestos Consultant, who can hit the ground running. Due to the nature of their contracts, they are able to consider candidates with a singular discipline (Surveying or Analytical), or dual. Our client is known for their investment in their workforce, and can offer great further training within Asbestos as well as other compliance / environmental sectors. Salaries on offer are competitive and come with an attractive benefits package.
You will be travelling across: Leicester, Hinckley, Rugby, Coventry, Royal Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Droitwich Spa, Halesowen, Stourbridge, Dudley, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Lichfield, Cannock, Penkridge, Rugeley, Stafford, Burton upon Trent, Loughborough, Coalville, Derby, Nottingham, Beeston.
Experience / Qualifications
- Must be qualified with the BOHS P402 for Surveying (or RSPH equivalent)
- Ideally will hold the BOHS P403 & P404 for Analysis (or RSPH equivalent)
- Strong experience working as an Asbestos Consultant
- Good literacy and IT skills
- Comfortable discussing technical matters directly with clients
- Able to manage own workload
The Role
- Undertaking management, demolition, refurbishment and re‐inspection asbestos surveys
- Meeting with clients to answer technical queries
- Collating findings to produce site‐specific reports
- 4 stage clearances and personal, leak, smoke, background and reassurance air testing
- Collecting samples from site and delivering to the lab for analysis
- Adhering to HSE guidelines
- Working to agreed deadlines
- Travelling in line with company requirements
