Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire Salary/Benefits: £25k – £36k + Training & Benefits We are recruiting for a hardworking Water Hygiene Engineer to cover contracts in the Yorkshire and Midlands region. The role is within a respected and busy Water Hygiene / Treatment company, who are rapidly growing their client base. The role will vary depending on client needs, so the perfect candidate would be flexible and able to adapt to changing requirements. The company can offer excellent training regimes and opportunities to cross-train into other industry areas. They are offering competitive salaries and benefits. Our client would prefer someone based in / around: Doncaster, Thorne, Goole, Scunthorpe, Mexborough, Rotherham, Sheffield, Retford, Gainsborough, Dronfield, Worksop, Chesterfield, Mansfield, Matlock, Barnsley, Pontefract, Wakefield, Castleford, Dewsbury, Huddersfield, Leeds, Bradford, Halifax, Selby, Garforth, Buxton, Derby, Nottingham, Lincoln, Beeston, Ilkeston, Long Easton, Castle Donington, Leek. Experience / Qualifications Must have experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer within a Water Hygiene / Treatment company Excellent technical knowledge, including the ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines It would be beneficial to have remedial / plumbing experience, but this is not essential Good literacy and numeracy skills IT literate Strong client-facing skills The Role Undertaking a wide variety of ACOP L8 compliance duties for a mix of commercial, industrial and public sector clients TMV inspections and servicing Showerhead descales Mains injections Cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks Water sampling Temperature monitoring Minor remedial duties, such as: TMV replacements and pipework repairs Updating site logbooks Representing the company in a professional manner Alternative job titles: Water Treatment Engineer, Legionella Operative, Environmental Service Technician, L8 Technician.
