Main Job Purpose
- Capturing and understanding client requirements.
- Technical Specification and Design of Solutions.
- Presenting solutions through technical documentation and detailed report writing.
- Research and Development of new technologies and Solutions.
- Supporting Sales Team in understanding and offering the right solutions to our clients.
- Supporting Technical teams to ensure Solutions are delivered the way they were designed/intended and achieve the desired outcomes.
- Production of documents and materials to support the sales and delivery of our solutions, including Training.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with Account Teams (Sales and IT Consultants) where bespoke or more complex solutions are required.
- Review off-the shelf and existing solutions offered to ensure they are being correctly specified and delivered.
- Assist with technical pre-sales questions – Both internally and with clients.
- Research and develop new solutions and technologies as guided by the Solutions Board - Identifying, understanding and reviewing suitability.
- Identifying and ensuring appropriate training is available and understanding of solutions for teams to be able to deliver solutions as intended.
- Production of documents, reports and other materials, such as Wireless Heat-maps, Audits reports, Consultancy reports, LAN Schematics, Rack Designs, VLAN Designs and Proposal/Bid Documentation.
- Represent Computeam as a Solutions Architect/Technical Design Authority, at meetings involving Clients and other 3rd party organisations.
- Work on and improving existing Solutions offerings.
- Developing and improving in-house tools and systems, especially with a view to automation and efficiency gains, or enabling new service offerings.
- Developing and working towards team objectives.
