We are now looking for an Education and Training Consultant to join our world class company. Candidates must have experience working in Education and be able to demonstrate knowledge or practical experience of digital transformation in the Education sector and be someone who is competent working with clients, customers and colleagues of all levels of seniority.
The role would be predominantly working from home, however, there will be a small amount of travel where in-person visits to schools are required. These would largely be in and around the Midlands area. There may be occasions of wider travel, but these would be rare and planned well in advance.
Role fundamentals - What you’ll do:
- Training Delivery:
- Design and Deliver training programmes – remotely and/or in person.
- Identifying, creating, and curating training content, relevant to both our clients, and for staff within the business with a particular perspective and focus on, the use of technologies and solutions we provide and support within schools.
- Work as part of a team to maintain our e-learning platform – including updating content to reflect Government Education, and Technology advancement changes.
- Contribute your experience within the education sector to the marketing team, with the potential for blog writing, website copywriting and creation of marketing materials.
- Internal Support; using your knowledge and experience of the Education section:
o Source opportunities to develop more expansive future content and courses.
o Create and edit training scripts and demonstration recordings.
- Transformation Consultancy:
o Meet with clients to assess digital transformation needs.
o Conduct skills analysis exercises, through site visits, audits, observations, and discussion.
o Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to produce detailed reports back to clients.
o Design bespoke training solutions and programs which meet the assessed needs, whilst remaining on budget.
- Internal Support; using your knowledge and experience of the Education section:
o Provide training for internal staff on education policy, trends, and procedures.
o Offer support and advice to the Commercial and Procurement team to ensure the products and solutions we offer are fit for purpose, appropriate for use in an educational establishment and deliver on our company’s vision to helps schools to improve their outcomes.
o Contribute your experience within the education sector to the marketing team, with the potential for blog writing, website copywriting and creation of marketing materials.
- Stay Updated:
o Keep abreast of the latest trends, methodologies, and developments in the Education field, and incorporate relevant innovations into training programs.
What you’ll need to succeed:
· A passion for education.
· Experience of planning and leading training sessions within the Education sector.
· Demonstrable knowledge or practical experience of digital transformation in the Education sector.
· Good knowledge of fundamental IT concepts and applications.
· Experience of working with Microsoft, Google and Apple software, or a commitment to the pursuance of personal CPD requirements in these areas.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
Certificate in Education, or PGCE or Diploma in Education (QTS desirable)
