The Role

As their newest UI/UX Designer, you\’ll be instrumental in creating exceptional user experiences across multiple platforms:

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive UI/UX design standards and component libraries
  • Create high-quality wireframes, mockups, user flows, and interactive prototypes using tools like Figma
  • Produce clear, organised design documentation to streamline development handoffs
  • Collaborate effectively with Product and Engineering teams on requirement refinement and user story development
  • Contribute to design reviews and strategic workshops where your input will be valued
  • Support user research initiatives and usability testing to drive data-informed design decisions
  • Implement accessibility principles ensuring WCAG compliance across all designs
  • Stay current with UI/UX trends, emerging tools, and AI-powered design technologies
  • Identify and implement standardised UI frameworks across development teams
What you\’ll Need

Must-Have Skills:

  • Proven experience in UI/UX design with strong user-centred design principles
  • An impressive portfolio demonstrating interface design skills, design thinking, and user flow creation
  • Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch)
  • Experience working within a software house/tech company that launches new products (project planning platforms, customer portals, AI platforms)
  • Solid understanding of responsive and accessible design practices
  • Exceptional attention to detail and experience working with established design systems
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative approach to feedback
  • Ability to thrive in cross-functional team environments
  • Natural curiosity for exploring user insights and technical constraints

Highly Desirable:

  • Experience conducting usability testing and user research activities
  • Understanding of Front End development concepts (HTML/CSS, design handoff processes)
