We’re currently recruiting for a System Administrator to join a growing IT services provider in a mostly remote capacity, with occasional visits to the Portsmouth office. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid infrastructure knowledge and a proactive mindset who enjoys troubleshooting, collaborating with teams, and learning new technologies.
You'll be responsible for supporting customer environments, handling tickets, and ensuring systems are maintained and running optimally.
Key Responsibilities:- Take ownership of customer support tickets, following internal processes and ensuring SLA adherence
- Troubleshoot issues independently or collaboratively, escalating where necessary
- Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively address any issues
- Support installation, configuration, and upgrades of operating systems and software
- Assist with virtualisation and cloud technologies
- Contribute to security initiatives, including patching and vulnerability management
- Maintain accurate asset records and update documentation
- Follow and uphold change control processes
