We re working with a leading organisation in the rail industry to recruit an experienced
Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex technology transformation programmes across cloud, infrastructure, enterprise platforms, ERP and data.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected organisation undergoing significant transformation and play a key role in delivering business-critical initiatives from concept through to implementation.
- What you'll Be Doing
- Leading the end-to-end delivery of complex technology and business change projects.
- Turning opportunities and problem statements into clearly defined projects, including scope definition, business case development and budget creation.
- Managing cloud, infrastructure, ERP, enterprise platform and data-focused initiatives.
- Working closely with Architecture, Information Security, QA, operational teams, suppliers and business stakeholders.
- Driving delivery across Agile, Waterfall and hybrid project environments.
- Maintaining project plans, RAID logs, governance, budget tracking and executive reporting.
- Managing risks, issues, dependencies and change effectively throughout the project life cycle.
- Ensuring production readiness, operational resilience and successful enterprise-wide rollouts.
- What We re Looking For
- Proven experience delivering complex technology programmes as a Senior Project Manager.
- Strong experience across cloud technologies (AWS, Azure and/or GCP), infrastructure, ERP, enterprise platforms or data projects.
- Demonstrable experience defining projects from early-stage concept, including scoping, planning and budget creation.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage technical teams, suppliers and senior business leaders.
- Experience managing projects through Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery models.
- Strong governance, planning, budgeting and reporting capabilities.
- Relevant project management qualifications such as PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum or equivalent.
