Summary of Role: The IT Procurement Specialist will be working with the Law Firm, to help deliver the wider procurement activities, supporting the IT Procurement Manager. Focusing on Supplier Management and IT Procurement, this candidate will ensure new interactions with vendors follow the firm's requirements and diligence processes.
Job Duties:
- Understand and ensure that the procurement processes are followed for the IT department and ensure all governance and diligence is applied when reviewing or on-boarding suppliers.
- Support the business areas, IT teams and Project teams in supplier engagement and on-boarding process.
- Work with supplier relationship owners to provide support and guidance in ongoing supplier management.
- Liaise with the Risk, Compliance, IT Security and Finance teams to ensure new suppliers are thoroughly checked before on-boarding takes place.
- Oversee the NDA signing process prior to discussions taking place.
- Assist in managing the corporate software licensing estate.
- Review proposals and Statements of Work to ensure they meet the expectations of the firm.
Knowledge/Experience:
- Over 5 years of experience in IT Procurement.
- Contract Drafting or Contract Negotiation.
- Redline SaaS, Cloud or Software Procurement.
- Experience in negotiating and co-terming IT contracts.
- Experience dealing with Cloud-Based contracts (Microsoft Azure).
- Experience dealing with Software Licensing Models.
