We’re working with a top-tier Managed Service Provider looking to hire a Senior Linux Consultant to deliver expert-level consultancy across Linux, VMware, and cloud platforms. You will lead technical solutions, support key infrastructure projects, and contribute to data centre migrations.
Location: London or Portsmouth (with UK-wide client site travel)
Clearance: Must hold or be eligible for SC Clearance
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality technical consultancy to clients across infrastructure projects
- Lead or contribute to small/medium-sized technical engagements
- Design, implement, and support Linux-based solutions (RHEL, Oracle Linux, CentOS)
- Support data centre migrations and hybrid cloud integrations (AWS/Azure)
- Provide guidance to junior consultants and ensure project deliverables are met
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- 3–5 years in a technical consultancy role
- Strong Linux/UNIX expertise (RHEL, Oracle Linux, Solaris, HPUX)
- Hands-on experience with VMware, Hypervisors, AWS/Azure
- Solid scripting and automation knowledge
- Data centre migration experience
