Our client is seeking an experienced Pensions Operations Project Manager to lead high-profile transformation initiatives, working closely with stakeholders, third-party administrators, and operational teams to deliver meaningful business outcomes. You'll help shape operational excellence while working in a highly collaborative and regulated financial services environment.

The Role:

  • Lead the full project delivery life cycle from initiation through to implementation and handover.
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships, ensuring expectations are understood and effectively managed.
  • Provide regular project status reporting and governance updates to the PMO.
  • Define project objectives, target operating models, and delivery outcomes.
  • Identify, manage, and escalate project risks and issues when required.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, resource requirements, and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external vendors across multiple workstreams to ensure successful delivery.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience managing complex projects within Pensions Operations environments.
  • Knowledge of the UK regulatory landscape, including PRA and FCA requirements.
  • Strong understanding of customer operations and operational change delivery.
  • Experience delivering projects involving operations or pensions-related applications and technology platforms.
  • Knowledge of Finance Operating Models and business transformation initiatives.
  • Recognised project management qualifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, influencing, and leadership skills.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities, resources, and deadlines within a complex environment.
