Health & Safety Manager Portsmouth | 5 Days Per Week On-Site Salary - up to £40,000 - dependent upon experience Our key client, a recognised force within the technical consulting sector, is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead and drive health, safety and compliance activities across multiple office locations, with a strong focus on their Portsmouth sites. This is a hands-on role for an established Health & Safety professional who enjoys balancing operational safety, compliance, audits and employee engagement within a fast-paced business environment. Key responsibilities: Lead day-to-day Health & Safety activities across office and home-working environments Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations Support regulatory compliance, including ISO 45001 and contractor management Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain H&S policies and procedures Deliver safety training, inductions and awareness programmes Partner with facilities, HR and leadership teams to promote a positive safety culture About you: Proven experience in a Health & Safety Manager or Senior H&S Officer position Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and best practice Experience supporting audits, investigations and compliance frameworks Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels NEBOSH qualification or equivalent preferred This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected organisation where health, safety and employee wellbeing are central to business success.
