My client, a Financial Services organisation, is seeking an experienced Pre-Trade Non-Functional Test Analyst to join their team in the City of London. This is a hybrid role offering a competitive contract rate.
Role Overview: The successful candidate will have strong experience in Non-Functional Testing, specifically in Performance Testing, and JMeter scripting. You will be responsible for creating repeatable test scenarios, conducting failover tests, and executing performance tests throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Strong experience with JMeter scripting and open-source testing tools.
- Proficiency in FIX Protocol, TCP-based Binary messages, and HTTP/Websockets.
- Ability to analyze system metrics (CPU, memory, JAVA heap, etc.).
- Expertise in Performance, Capacity, and Stress Testing.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux (including scripting and performance tuning).
- Experience with relational databases (MS-SQL, MySQL) and web servers (IIS).
- Background in Financial Services, preferably pre-trade.
- Knowledge of SWIFT, FIX protocols, and multicast messages.
- Proven experience in performance and failover testing.
