Job Summary:
Our client, in the financial services sector, is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to deliver hands-on security improvements with deep technical expertise across modern security platforms, including Netskope, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Purview, and Mimecast. They have built out a solid security stack and are planning to implement CyberArk for IAM/PAM, with numerous audits ongoing. They are looking for someone to help tighten and improve the security controls.
Key must-have experience includes supporting Cyber Essentials Plus recertification, helping implement IAM/PAM, and reviewing and strengthening Purview DLP. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in regulated industries and a track record of delivering practical security solutions with minimal supervision.
Key Requirements:
- Implement and optimise Netskope Layer 7 security policies while identifying and resolving configuration gaps
- Provide security expertise during the migration from AirWatch to Microsoft Intune
- Support the organisation's Cyber Essentials Plus recertification process and related compliance work
- Enhance Microsoft Purview configurations, including DLP controls and data classification frameworks
- Deliver security monitoring support and participate in incident response activities when required
- Develop a centralised Trust Centre and standardised documentation for vendor security assessments
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Technical expertise with Mimecast, Netskope, CrowdStrike, CyberArk, and Microsoft Purview platforms
- Must-have experience supporting or implementing Cyber Essentials Plus certification programs
- Strong experience assisting with CyberArk implementation
- Extensive working with Purview DLP enhancement
- In-depth understanding of security architectures within Microsoft 365/Azure ecosystems and E5 environments
- Professional experience within regulated sectors, particularly financial services industries
- Self-sufficient working style with the capability to manage deliverables autonomously and apply practical security approaches
- Effective communication skills for collaboration across technical and business-focused audiences
