We’re looking for a Junior Network Engineer with a proactive, driven mindset to join our client's talented and expanding team in London. You'll play a key role in supporting their rapidly growing tier one client base, working in an organisation building, scaling and improving network solutions that deliver for their clients. What We’re Looking For

We’re after someone with 18 months+ experience in a support or Tier 2 network environment, ideally with some coding or automation knowledge. You'll bring strong switching knowledge and a solid understanding of VLANs, along with a genuine enthusiasm for learning and problem-solving.

Technical Skills Required

  • Core Networking
  • CCNA (or equivalent knowledge)
  • Strong IP capabilities and routing understanding
  • Ethernet & Switching
  • VLANs
  • MPLS
  • Q-in-Q
  • Ethernet Ring Protection Protocol
  • Network Automation
  • Python
  • SQL/PostgreSQL
  • SNMP experience
  • NetConf experience is a bonus, but not essential

Customer Support

  • Day-to-day customer support and new service provisioning
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Confidence articulating faults and updates to clients via email and phone

Nice to Have

  • Working knowledge of ADVA FSP150 platform
  • Experience with Ciena 5000 series Routers
