A leading managed service provider client of ours is seeking an experienced AI & Data Technical Trainer to deliver engaging learning experiences that help organisations unlock the full value of their data ecosystems.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in a forward-thinking AI & Data Practice and Training Academy. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including Starburst, Dell Data Lake solutions, cloud-native analytics platforms, and modern data warehouse architectures, helping clients and internal teams build the skills required to drive meaningful business outcomes from their data investments. The Role:
- Design and develop high-quality technical training programmes focused on Starburst, Dell Data Lakes, and Data Warehousing architectures.
- Create engaging learning materials, hands-on labs, workshops, case studies, and practical exercises that support enterprise analytics adoption.
- Deliver interactive virtual, hybrid, and live training sessions that encourage hands-on learning and knowledge sharing.
- Facilitate workshops rather than traditional classroom-style training, placing learner engagement and participation at the centre of every session.
- Adapt delivery styles for both technical and non-technical audiences using real-world data and AI use cases.
- Gather learner feedback and performance insights to continuously improve training effectiveness and outcomes.
- Stay current with emerging technologies across AI, data lakes, data warehousing, and distributed query engines.
- Collaborate with AI & Data specialists to align learning programmes with strategic business objectives and evolving platform capabilities.
Required experience:
- Proven experience designing and delivering technical training programmes for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, AI/ML fundamentals, and modern data platform architectures.
- Experience with, or exposure to, technologies such as Starburst, Dell Data Lakes, Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, BigQuery, or similar enterprise data platforms.
- The ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging, and actionable learning experiences.
- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience delivering interactive learning through workshops, simulations, whiteboarding sessions, and hands-on technical exercises.
- Experience delivering training around modern data architectures, lakehouse environments, distributed SQL engines such as Trino/Presto, and cloud-based analytics platforms.
- Exposure to enterprise AI and advanced analytics initiatives.
- Previous experience within a software vendor, cloud services provider, data platform organisation, or consultancy environment.
