About the Role and Client:
- Create and continuously refine a standardised migration "playbook" for future acquisitions.
- Assess Legacy repositories, analyse document structures and metadata, and map them to the enterprise taxonomy.
- Plan and execute large-scale data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities while maintaining full data integrity and compliance.
- Run test migrations, reconciliation checks, and quality assurance cycles.
- Troubleshoot issues in Real Time and implement rapid fixes with minimal business disruption.
- Collaborate closely with IT, governance, business units, and third-party vendors.
- Produce clear migration guides, user documentation, and communication materials.
- Identify automation opportunities and contribute to long-term process improvement.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven hands-on experience leading large document or data migration projects into an enterprise DMS.
- Strong ability to analyse disparate source systems and accurately map structures, metadata, and retention policies.
- Comfortable performing data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation at scale.
- Excellent stakeholder management across technical teams, business users, governance leads, and external partners.
- Demonstrated skill in creating playbooks, checklists, timelines, and user-facing documentation.
- A continuous-improvement mindset with ideas on how to streamline and automate future migrations.
