Our key client, a recognised force within the technical consulting sector, is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead and drive health, safety and compliance activities across multiple office locations, with a strong focus on their Portsmouth sites.

This is a hands-on role for an established Health & Safety professional who enjoys balancing operational safety, compliance, audits and employee engagement within a fast-paced business environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day Health & Safety activities across office and home-working environments
  • Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations
  • Support regulatory compliance, including ISO 45001 and contractor management
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain H&S policies and procedures
  • Deliver safety training, inductions and awareness programmes
  • Partner with facilities, HR and leadership teams to promote a positive safety culture

About you:

  • Proven experience in a Health & Safety Manager or Senior H&S Officer position
  • Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and best practice
  • Experience supporting audits, investigations and compliance frameworks
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence at all levels
  • NEBOSH qualification or equivalent preferred
