ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is a well-established IT services and managed services provider. As Halo Developer, you will be the technical authority for this multi-tenant platform — managing, configuring, and optimising it to meet evolving business and client needs. You will translate stakeholder requirements into native Halo solutions, lead workflow automation and integration initiatives across tools such as Zabbix, Torq, and Entra, and ensure the platform operates in line with ITIL best practice. This is a hands‑on role with real ownership of platform direction, working closely with operations, IT, and business stakeholders in a collaborative, outcome‑driven team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own overall Halo platform health, stability, and performance — acting as the primary technical escalation point for incidents and service requests.
- Design, develop, and optimise Halo workflows, automation frameworks, and SLA triggers using Halo’s native workflow engine.
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards to track platform KPIs and business performance metrics.
- Lead integrations between Halo and third‑party platforms (e.g. Zabbix, Torq, Entra), managing API configurations and release cycles.
- Serve as a technical advisor for Halo roadmap planning — bridging requirements across IT, operations, and business stakeholders.
- Enforce governance, access control, and ITIL‑aligned change management policies across all platform modifications and enhancements.
- Lead training sessions, workshops, and documentation to drive platform adoption and best practice across internal and customer teams.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven Halo Advanced Administrator or Consultant experience, including multi‑tenant / multi‑organisation configurations.
- Strong SQL/T‑SQL skills for Halo reporting and database queries (SQL Server experience required).
- Heavily hands‑on experience designing and configuring Halo workflows, event‑driven notifications, and end‑user portal templates.
- Solid stakeholder management ability — translating business requirements into native Halo solutions without unnecessary customisation.
- Strong working knowledge of ITIL frameworks (v3 or v4); ITIL Foundation certification desirable.
- Experience managing Halo release cycles, upgrades, and API integrations in a managed service or multi‑client environment.
- PowerShell scripting experience and/or familiarity with migrating from legacy ITSM platforms (e.g. ServiceNow, Remedy) is advantageous.
