£65000 - £70000 Permanent Mostly Remote - 1 day per week in London. Our client is seeking a talented developer to join their IP Development team, working on high quality, user focused software in a collaborative, forward thinking environment.
Working arrangement: Hybrid (once per month in the London office). Office Location: London.

The Role
- Design, build, and maintain Front End and Back End components of scalable web applications.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and fellow engineers to deliver user focused solutions.
- Translate business and technical requirements into clean, maintainable, and well structured code.
- Ensure applications meet performance, reliability, and security standards.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement and coding standards.
- Support architectural and technical decision making aligned with long term platform goals.
- Contribute to testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high quality delivery.
- Work within Agile delivery frameworks, actively participating in planning, refinement, and retrospectives.
- Improve development processes, tooling, and automation across the team.
- Leverage AI assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code to enhance development workflows.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience with modern Front End frameworks, particularly React.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and building Server Side applications.
- Experience with Back End frameworks such as NestJS, Spring Boot, or similar.
- Working knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Solid understanding of API design, RESTful services, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (ideally Azure, AWS also beneficial).
- Strong grasp of software engineering best practices, including testing and code quality.
- Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).
- Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and non technical teams.
- Experience using AI assisted development tools, or a strong interest in adopting AI in modern software development.
