Role Summary: Lead enterprise data strategy and architecture. Own Azure-native data platform architecture, governance frameworks, and drive AI/ML adoption across the business. The ideal candidate is an extensive hands-on architect with high-regulated data architect life cycle experience covering data lakes, data warehouses, from concept to deployment and consumption. Must have hands-on HLD and LLD experience developing data modelling and core Azure native data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute enterprise data strategy - Enterprise data, BI, and reporting solutions
  • Design and develop Azure-native data platforms (Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, Purview)
  • Lead data governance board and ensure GDPR compliance
  • Drive data-driven decision making across the business
  • Mentor teams and manage vendor relationships

Essential Requirements:

  • With the past 5 years of working experience as a Data Architect and executing a data strategy
  • TOGAF 9+ certified or higher is desired
  • Experience with working with accounting and finance systems, preferably in a Law firm or professional services firm.
  • Good experience in owning and managing an enterprise data model in various data domains
  • Extensive hands-on architect with high-regulated environments
  • Complete enterprise data architect life cycle covering everything in data management - from concept to deployment and consumption
  • Strong Hands-on High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) experience covering Data modelling (Conceptual, logical, and physical)
  • Azure Expertise: Deep hands-on experience developing core Azure native data solutions: Synapse Analytics, Data Lake Gen2, Data Factory, Databricks, CosmosDB, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Purview for data governance
  • Integration: Experience with MDM platforms (Profisee, Semarchy, CluedIn)
