Key Responsibilities

  • Write SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyse data from various sources (databases, APIs, spreadsheets, etc.).
  • Map, clean, and process data to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and recommend master data management improvements.
  • Develop reports and data visualizations using Power BI.
  • Create and maintain solution and data-flow diagrams to support governance and documentation.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards such as GDPR.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure data accessibility.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in BI, Data Analysis, or Reporting, preferably in financial services.
  • Proven experience in data analysis across at least two large-scale HR system replacement projects involving data migration (ideally SAP SuccessFactors and Sage People).
  • Strong expertise in SQL and data visualization tools (Power BI preferred).
  • Hands-on experience working with data across the Hire to Retire value stream.
  • Ability to work with large datasets, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Understanding of data security, GDPR compliance, and best practices in data governance.

  • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900)
