Our client, a leading organisation operating within a regulated environment, is seeking an experienced Microsoft Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen and enhance its cloud security capabilities.
This role will focus on securing Microsoft Azure and hybrid environments, protecting business-critical systems and data, and driving modern security practices across the organisation.
What you'll be doing
- Design and maintain security controls across Azure and hybrid cloud platforms.
- Manage identity, authentication, and access management solutions.
- Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents and threats.
- Improve security posture through continuous assessment and remediation activities.
- Support compliance, governance, and regulatory security requirements.
- Provide security guidance and best practice recommendations to technical teams.
What we re looking for
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure security technologies.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and modern identity management practices.
- Experience working with Microsoft Sentinel and Defender security solutions.
- Understanding of cloud security frameworks and Zero Trust principles.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Purview and governance tooling.
