Job Summary
We are recruiting for an experienced Cloud Platform Architect (Microsoft Azure) on behalf of a global legal services client. This role is expected to lead the defining, designing and implementing cloud and platform infrastructure strategy and evolution of enterprise cloud and infrastructure platforms within a global organisation. This role requires a strong blend of architecture leadership, cloud strategy, stakeholder management, and operational excellence, helping to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-effective technology platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shape and drive the organisation cloud platform roadmap
- Design scalable and secure cloud and infrastructure solutions
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders globally
- Guide technical delivery teams on architecture best practices
- Improve platform reliability, resilience and operational maturity
- Promote cost optimisation and governance across cloud services
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Extensive experience in Microsoft Azure platform and cloud infrastructure architecture - defining technology strategy and roadmaps.
- Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure platforms
- At least 10 years experience working in IT Architecture and engineering and minimum 5 years working experience in Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of IaC, Serverless, Containerisation, Networks, Information Security, AI and data as an Enterprise Cloud infrastructure delivery with Microsoft solutions.
- Ability to engage senior business and technical stakeholders
- Knowledge of security, governance and risk management principles
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
