We are seeking an experienced M365 Consultant to provide technical support to the Microsoft 365 practice on behalf of our client, a premier IT services firm. This role offers the opportunity to shape strategic initiatives, deliver cutting-edge solutions within M365 technologies, and work with a diverse portfolio of clients across various sectors. You'll be instrumental in designing and implementing enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 environments while mentoring teams and contributing to practice development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and deploy enterprise Exchange solutions from on-premises (2010-2019) to cloud, managing hybrid configurations and complete environment transitions.
- Deliver end-to-end M365 implementations across Teams, SharePoint, Azure AD, and associated productivity platforms for diverse client requirements.
- Champion modern workplace adoption through Viva suite, Loop, Planner, and Fabric integration to maximise collaboration and data insights.
- Support business development by providing technical expertise during client engagements and optimising ongoing service delivery.
- Create detailed technical blueprints and comprehensive project documentation to ensure seamless solution deployment and knowledge transfer.
- Orchestrate multi-forest Active Directory consolidations and identity synchronisation using Entra ID Connect with robust cutover strategies.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven expertise in designing and delivering enterprise Microsoft 365 solutions with a strong focus on Exchange Online and hybrid environments.
- Demonstrated experience with Zero Trust architecture, DLP, Information Protection, eDiscovery, retention policies, and Conditional Access implementations.
- Extensive technical proficiency in Windows 11 deployments, Microsoft Identity management, and Azure AD/Entra ID directory services.
- Exceptional change management capabilities with excellent documentation and communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and consultants while acting as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams.
- Experience supporting practice strategy development and contributing to business planning aligned with organisational goals.
