We’re looking for an experienced Practice Lead to join our fast-growing Consultancy Practice, helping shape the future of Workplace Platforms for both our customers and our business. You’ll be joining a dynamic, collaborative, and rapidly expanding Consultancy Practice at Computacenter, where innovation, leadership and expertise come together to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers. As part of our Workplace Platforms function, you’ll work alongside industry-leading architects, consultants, sales teams, technical specialists, and strategic partners to shape market-relevant service offerings and drive customer success. This is a highly visible leadership role where you’ll have the opportunity to influence both internal strategy and customer transformation programmes, while mentoring and growing a talented team of consultants and architects. What you’ll do
- Lead and develop a team of Microsoft 365 and Modern Management architects and consultants, with responsibility for recruitment, coaching and career development
- Manage team performance, utilisation forecasting, and commercial performance to support the team’s P&L
- Provide strategic guidance to customers on digital transformation, organisational change, and workplace technology roadmaps
- Build trusted relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, acting as a strategic advisor
- Lead and support pre-sales activities, including large and complex responses to RFPs, RFIs and ITTs
- Collaborate across consultancy, engineering, sales, delivery and operations teams to design innovative workplace platform solutions
- Work closely with partners and solution leaders to develop market-leading Microsoft 365 and Modern Management service offerings
- Drive governance and assurance across transformation solutions, ensuring quality and reducing delivery risk
- Promote thought leadership internally and externally, using social channels and professional networks to raise awareness of our expertise
What you’ll need
- Significant experience in IT consultancy, with a strong understanding of consulting and project delivery methodologies
- Proven line management experience, with the ability to coach, mentor and inspire technical teams
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365, Modern Management, Application & Desktop Virtualisation, and workplace platform technologies
- A strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud architecture, and digital transformation programmes
- Experience in pre-sales solution development, including requirements gathering, solution design, and cost modelling
- Strong governance and assurance experience across both pre-sales and project delivery
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging C-level executives, senior leaders and technical teams
- Experience leading virtual teams and collaborating across multiple business functions
- Strong commercial awareness, with experience managing utilisation, forecasting and service development
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- A proactive mindset and passion for driving innovation and developing new solutions
