You’ll join Computacenter’s growing Consultancy Practice, working with highly skilled architects and consultants across the UK and globally. This is a collaborative, high-impact environment where you’ll shape some of the most secure and complex Microsoft workplace solutions in the market, supporting defence sector clients on mission‑critical programmes. You’ll have access to Microsoft thought leadership, cutting‑edge technologies, and opportunities to influence strategy, propositions, and large‑scale transformations — all while working in a supportive, people‑first culture that values expertise and curiosity.
What you’ll do:
- Act as Solution Architect and Design Authority for enterprise‑scale Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions within defence environments
- Lead solution design from pre‑sales through to planning and initiation of delivery
- Translate business outcomes into secure, scalable Microsoft architectures
- Design end‑to‑end solutions across the Microsoft workplace stack, including:
- Microsoft 365 (Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and identity services
- Microsoft Intune, Windows 11, Autopilot, and endpoint management
- Microsoft Defender, Purview, and compliance tooling
- Azure and hybrid integration where required
What you’ll need:
- Proven experience as an Enterprise / Workplace / Solution Architect delivering large‑scale Microsoft workplace solutions
- Strong architectural knowledge of the Microsoft Modern Workplace portfolio
- Experience working in secure or regulated environments (defence sector experience highly desirable)
- Ability to lead complex engagements, influence senior stakeholders, and own solutions end to end
- Experience operating in a consulting or pre‑sales environment, balancing technical depth with commercial awareness
- Strong documentation, design authority, and governance experience
- A continuous learning mindset, with relevant Microsoft certifications or a willingness to attain them
