Life on the team
As an Access Specialist within Cyber Operations, you’ll sit at the heart of Computacenter’s Access Management capability. You’ll work across security, platforms, and the wider business to design secure, scalable access models that enable our people, partners, and customers to do their best work—safely. This is an influential role where you’ll bridge strategy and delivery, mentor others, and help shape the future of access governance across both established and emerging platforms.
What you’ll do
- Design and evolution of complex application, enterprise, and privileged access roles across Microsoft platforms
- Define and implement role models based on RBAC, least privilege, and segregation of duties principles
- Design and optimise privileged access profiles using Secure by Design and just in time access approaches
- Translate strategic access direction into practical, operational role models
- Contribute to onboarding new platforms (e.g. Salesforce, ServiceNow) into the access governance framework
- Monitor access activity, support audits, and contribute to IAM reporting and dashboards
- Act as a trusted advisor to platform owners and stakeholders on access risk and design
What you’ll need
- Good experience designing role-based access control models in complex environments
- Platform experience in Microsoft: Entra ID, Azure AD, On-Premis Active Directory
- Good overall experience with privileged access management
- Strong knowledge of access governance, audit processes, and access control frameworks (RBAC, DAC)
- Ability to translate policy into effective technical controls
- Automation and scripting skills (e.g. PowerShell)
- Experience influencing stakeholders across multiple levels
- Strong organisation, documentation, and time management skills
Certifications
- In Microsoft SC-300 is mandatory, AZ-500 would be desirable
This role will require you to undertake/obtain SC Clearance.
