Life on the team

You will play a pivotal role within Cyber Operations, contributing to the Identity and Access Management (IAM) capability that underpins how Computacenter securely connects employees, customers, partners, and third parties to its systems. This is a highly visible leadership role where you’ll help ensure robust, modern authentication and identity solutions are in place—protecting the organisation against evolving digital identity threats while supporting business growth and innovation.

What you’ll do

  • Leadership & Strategy
    • Define and deliver a global identity management strategy aligned to business objectives and risk appetite.
    • Lead a globally distributed team, driving performance, engagement, and continuous improvement.
    • Champion automation, scalability, and modern identity security approaches.
  • Identity & Access Management
    • Oversee identity lifecycle management (Joiners, Movers, Leavers) ensuring timely provisioning and de-provisioning of accounts.
    • Implement and maintain identity governance controls aligned to corporate policy.
    • Monitor authentication behaviour across all users and systems to support threat detection and response.
  • Specialist Identity Capabilities
    • Manage workload identities, including non-user accounts and credential rotation.
    • Own privileged identity management processes, ensuring secure control of administrative access.
    • Drive reporting, analytics, and insights on identity-related risks, issues, and performance.
  • Collaboration & Influence
    • Work closely with senior stakeholders across Cyber Operations, GRC, OCIO, and platform teams.
    • Act as a trusted SME and escalation point for identity management across the business.
    • Contribute to the ongoing development of Computacenter’s identity strategy.

What you’ll need

  • Strong knowledge of IAM platforms such as Entra ID and Active Directory.
  • Experience across identity lifecycle management, governance, and privileged access.
  • Understanding of modern authentication methods and identity threat landscape.
  • Extensive cybersecurity experience with a strong focus on identity management.
  • Proven leadership experience managing global teams and security programmes.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Microsoft security (e.g. AZ-500, SC-300).
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence at multiple levels.
  • Experience developing policies, processes, and best practices.
  • Commercial awareness and experience operating in complex environments.
  • Ability to obtain (or hold) SC Clearance.
