Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic Portfolio & Design (P&D) Content Manager to support the development and maintenance of high-quality IT Managed Services bid content. The P&D Content team forms part of the Operational Excellence function within Portfolio & Design. We are a growing team, with the primary objective of supporting our colleagues by driving efficiency and quality in the Managed Services bidding process.
Responsibilities
- Assimilate information extracted from Subject Matter Experts and rewrite it into Q&A pairs / responsive documents that are customer-centric and compelling
- Rewrite existing documentation where necessary, ensuring services are clearly articulated and can be easily integrated into bid proposals
- Generate new responses for Managed Services bid questions where none currently exist (e.g. for new and emerging customer requirements)
- Ensure responses going into Responsive follow Computacenter brand style and tone guidelines
- Refine and augment AI-generated content with relevant customer examples
- Review and curate previously submitted bid content and make it available within Responsive – ensuring only high-quality content is fed back into the repository
- Act as an internal advocate for the knowledgebase within Responsive, helping to drive recognition, user adoption, and reputation for the system as a strategic asset
- Develop strong, collaborative relationships with Product Marketing and Service Product Owners to develop new bid-ready content
Qualifications
- Bid writing and editing: strong command of grammar, tone and style
- Content curation: skilled in sourcing quality content and reshaping it for reuse
- Communication and collaboration: ability to communicate clearly and effectively to distil complex solution information from various SMEs
- Time management: ability to curate and review content quickly to reduce lag between new content creation and its availability for reuse
- Agility and stakeholder management: ability to quickly respond to internal customer requirements (from LDAs and Service Architects) and manage a network of internal stakeholders
- Aptitude for technology: keen interest in emerging IT trends, including AI; candidate must have a self-starter attitude for learning new concepts and confidently identify where new technology/processes could be adopted
- Experience creating, reviewing and maintaining bid/sales content for similar organisations
- Desirable: knowledge and experience within the IT industry
- Desirable: proficiency in French and/or German language
- Desirable: experience in using Responsive / RFPIO response management software
