Life on the team: We are a small, central UK based team working in a hybrid way and supporting opportunity governance across Computacenter's global business. From our base within Group Legal and Compliance at Head Office, we coordinate and support decision making forums to help sales opportunities progress quickly, while ensuring appropriate governance and risk control. Our work is underpinned by clear policy, robust processes, and modern technology platforms, including AI and automation, offering a fast paced, collaborative environment with strong opportunities to learn and develop. This role is engaging, varied and offers strong exposure to senior stakeholders. If you are looking for a genuine chance to join a globally recognised organisation that has a supportive and collaborative environment, then this could be the opportunity for you!

What you'll do:

  • Provide administrative support - prepare, schedule, facilitate and minute (virtual) governance forums based on requests from opportunity owners across the business made via the central CRM platform.
  • Work to measurable KPIs and reporting information to drive out data, process deficiencies and non-compliance.
  • Help develop and deliver training and guidance for business users in support of more general sales training programmes.
  • Be involved in internal change project work to maintain and improve our globally consistent approach.
  • Proactively seek support from colleagues, managers and other key stakeholders to enable solution-focussed and timely decisions.
  • Review and compile documentation, often of a sensitive nature.
  • Manage competing priorities.
  • Full ownership of tasks including invitation creation, collateral checks, documentation review, decision/action recording and follow up.

What you'll need:

  • Able to review and summarise complex information using strong written communication.
  • Good overall experience in an administrative or business support role.
  • Ability to identify recurring pain-points and the confidence to suggest fixes through an established change process.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 collaboration tools (Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint) would be essential.
  • Working knowledge of a second language and/or appreciation of cultural differences in business practice.
  • Professional but human - we pride ourselves in being approachable and supportive for business users, some of whom engage infrequently with our service.
  • Collaborative - it is essential that we understand and support colleagues to achieve common aims making best use of team capacity, providing cover where needed.
  • Decisive - explained rationale for taking a particular course of action as opposed to inaction and will be backed.
  • Being versatile is key as no day is the same, and sometimes we must react with lacking information.
  • Empathetic with business users and our colleagues.
  • Experience in decision-making forums or governance processes in a corporate environment with exposure to Legal, Commercial and/or Operational concepts.
