Our tax function is a key business partner, working closely with stakeholders across the UK and internationally to ensure compliance, manage risk, and provide strategic insights. Youll be empowered to lead, influence, and drive real change, while mentoring a high-performing team and strengthening the visibility of the tax function across the business.
What you\’ll do
- Lead UK tax compliance across VAT, corporation tax, payroll taxes, and tax accounting ensuring accurate, timely submissions and best-in-class processes
- Deliver high-quality advisory support, providing clear guidance on UK tax matters, VAT treatment, and contractual clauses
- Be a key advisor to business stakeholders, combining technical insight with a strong understanding of risk and commercial priorities
- Drive innovation through tax technology, managing tools such as Meridian, Alpha CT, and MTD platforms, and leading upgrade projects
- Manage relationships with external advisors, ensuring value-driven collaboration and cost control
- Provide coaching and guidance to team members in the UK and Hungary, building a culture of learning and collaboration
- Champion process improvements, system optimisation, and the strategic evolution of tax operations
What you\’ll need
- Proven experience in UK tax compliance and advisory across VAT, corporation tax, withholding taxes, and payroll taxes
- A strong understanding of UK tax accounting and Transfer Pricing principles
- Solid knowledge of tax technologies, with experience in managing systems like Meridian and Alpha CT
